What it's about...

Welcome to my newest project “What I did for $100.” I came up with the idea when I suddenly found myself without valid credit cards and was changing my limited money in blocks of 100 dollars. My purpose is to compare the purchase power of the dollar in different countries, and in different places across the United States. I have also included a wealth of shoestring travel trips, and my impressions about each place I visited. In general, I have not factored travel or accommodation costs into the $100, but you can see some of my favorite booking websites below for more information. Happy travels!
